Saturday the tractors rolled into Castaic Lake to prepare the Jump and Pump Track in Los Angeles for this weekend’s Revolution Bike Fest.
Oakley Lab’s dirt engineer Brian Johnson, and accomplished tractor artist Carl Aguilar have been at it 3 days and tomorrow, so that Friday we can open the dirt Jump and Pump Track in Los Angeles.
Revolution Bike Fest takes a unique approach to the “Pump Track”, much like Over the Hump’s race courses. It will be fun for Everyone, and an opportunity to boost on the more “Advanced” line, should the need arise for kids to show mom and dad (or their wives or boyfriends) how to fly.
It all started at 4:00am on Saturday November 3, as we headed to Castaic…Lola only had 1 cup of coffee, but it curled her hair!
Carl and Brian dreaming about what that Santa Cruz will be thinking when it’s ridden through the lines this weekend.
Next the boyz roughed in the 3 lines…that will be center stage for the fun this weekend.
The boyz confer on the line off the “launch pad” from the first berm.
Lots of shade over the track…awesome!
Double me this! While the photos don’t show all of the lines and fun, you can see how the water and dirt are rolling out the red carpet for you to come join the fun.
If you’re ready to fly, come join us at Revolution Bike Fest this weekend. Racing, camping, riding, flying, bike demos, beer garden, live music, food kids activities and all the fun you’re allowed to have inside of a County Park. Let’s do this SoCal.
